That's it! Valuable points were once again up for grabs on the Wolf Power Stage Mühltal 2. Sébastien Ogier / Vincent Landais secured the five extra points for winning the day's classification and the fastest time on this stage, effectively limiting the damage. Kalle Rovanperä / Jonne Halttunen were confirmed as the overall winners after crossing the finish line, ahead of Elfyn Evans / Scott Martin and Ott Tänak / Martin Järveoja.

#17 Sébastien Ogier (FRA) / Vincent Landais (FRA), Toyota GR Yaris Rally

‘We tried everything, all day long. Let's see how many points we get. That's life. Now it's time to look ahead.’

#33 Elfyn Evans (GBR) / Scott Martin (GBR), Toyota GR Yaris Rally1

“I wasn’t doing well towards the end, but otherwise it wasn’t bad. The manufacturers’ title is a big thank you to all the team members who put together such a great car for us. Now let’s see how it turns out. There are still a few points up for grabs.”

#69 Kalle Rovanperä (FIN) / Jonne Halttunen (FIN), Toyota GR Yaris Rally1

‘It was great to be back on asphalt. It was a good weekend for us. Seb and I were really fast. A big thank you to everyone in the workshop and here on site. We are clearly the best team. I'm hungry and will give everything in the title fight.’

#18 Takamoto Katsuta (JPN) / Aaron Johnston (IRL), Toyota GR Yaris Rally1

’This type of stage isn't perfect for me. It was my first time driving on hard tyres and it took me a while to build up confidence. I couldn't adjust quickly enough. I definitely need to improve a lot in this area. But we have improved a lot and the car ran great. I think I need to develop my driving style further. Now we're off to Japan, which is obviously very important for me."

#16 Adrien Fourmaux (FRA) / Alexandre Coria (FRA), Hyundai i20 N Rally1

‘We still have work to do with the car. It was a frustrating weekend. But we're not giving up.’

#5 Sami Pajari (FIN) / Marko Salminen (FIN), Toyota GR Yaris Rally1

‘For me personally, it was okay. I had good times on some stages. I learned a lot here and there are many positive things I'm taking away with me. I'll keep attacking.’

#13 Grégoire Munster (LUX) / Louis Louka (BEL), Ford Puma Rally1

"It was much better on the hard tyres than on the soft ones. I tried to put in a clean run, but I had problems with the front. After about 10 kilometres, the tyres had no grip left. We had the same problem in the Canary Islands, but this time we're not so far behind. That means we've improved. The team is doing everything it can to improve the car.‘

#55 Joshua McErlean (IRL) / Eoin Treacy (IRL), Ford Puma Rally1

’The rally was fun. It was nice to be able to complete all the kilometres. The team is putting in a lot of effort. I'm relieved to be at the finish line.‘

#20 Oliver Solberg (SWE) / Elliott Edmondson (GBR), Toyota GR Yaris

’Great. I had a good, solid weekend. I learned a lot here in the different conditions. It was a challenging rally. I'm ready for more."

#24 Jan Černý (CZE) / Ondřej Krajča (CZE), Skoda Fabia RS

‘This is totally crazy. After my last rally, I was down – mentally and financially. Many thanks to my father, who has supported me my whole life. I hope I can continue driving the Skoda.’

#27 Filip Mareš (CZE) / Radovan Bucha (CZE), Toyota GR Yaris

‘We could certainly have finished higher than second place, but the puncture threw a spanner in the works. Still, it's a good result at the end of the season. I'll give it my all to be back at the start of the WRC2 next year.’
